Yoga

A slow, grounding practice rooted in the original purpose of yoga

Yoga, in its truest sense, was designed to prepare the body for stillness. Long before it became associated with performance or achievement, yoga was a practice of settling--a way to unwind tension, regulate the nervous system, and create the internal stability needed for meditation and self‑inquiry. At its heart, yoga is about presence: steady breath, quiet attention, and a felt sense of being at home in your body.

The classes I teach honor this original intention.

You’ll move through a slow, floor‑based practice that invites grounding from the moment you arrive. Postures are simple, accessible, and intentionally predictable, giving your system time to soften and your breath space to lead the way. Nothing is effortful or rushed. Instead, the practice emphasizes steadiness, ease, and the kind of internal spaciousness that allows you to truly feel yourself again.

This approach supports:

-settling an overactive mind
-unwinding chronic tension
-reconnecting with breath and sensation
-building comfort and stability in your joints
-cultivating the quiet focus yoga was historically meant to nurture

Classes are suitable for all bodies and all levels. Whether you’re new to yoga or returning after time away, this practice meets you where you are--gently, steadily, and without pressure.
